Shaviz Montez Adams

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Shaviz Montez Adams, affectionately known as “Pooh.”  A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary of St. Peters Baptist Church, 1361 Fort Hill Street, Macon, Georgia  31217.  Rev. Willie Finney, Sr., Pastor of St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church will Officiate and deliver the Eulogy.   

Shaviz was born on August 12, 1990, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Stephanie Denise Adams and Stephen Tobler. He was a proud graduate of Southwest High School. Shaviz developed a passion for music early in life and dreamed of becoming a music producer.

He honorably served his country in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia. Above all, Shaviz was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother who loved his family deeply and stood strong through life’s challenges. 

On February 21, 2026, Shaviz transitioned from his physical body and entered eternal rest. His love, strength, and legacy will continue to live on through his family, his “Battles,” and all who were blessed to know him.

Mr. Adams leaves to cherish his loving memories: a beloved wife, Bernatta Adams, four children, Kendallyn Johnson, Naomi Adams, Rayleigh Adams, and Khalil Adams, a devoted father, Stephan Tobler, grandparents, Patricia Adams and Bernice (Solomon) Stephens, two siblings, Sheena (Latosha) Parker and James (Nayesha) Hamlin, two aunts, four uncles, a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

There Will Be No Public Viewing.
